You deserve to have an obituary you are proud of. The Healing Obituary team will share principles that help you write a meaningful, healing obituary. We ask you to watch the videos, take the actions recommended in the workshop, and participate in the process. If you simply commit to doing that, you can write a meaningful obituary. After committing and taking the recommended steps, if you still require a return, you may return under the following policy.
2. Digital products
You have 30-days from the date of purchase to request a refund. If received on or before the 30th day, you will receive a full refund. If the request is received on or after the 31st day of purchase, no refund will be issued.
3. Physical products
You have 30-days from the date of purchase to request a refund and return an item (less shipping and handling). If the request is received on or before the 30th day and the item is postmarked within 3 days of the request you will receive a full refund; otherwise no refund will be issued.
Many physical products are fulfilled by 3rd party suppliers so we cannot refund or exchange the item if you provide your address incorrectly, or have an unclaimed shipment returned to our 3rd party fulfillment center. Shipments that go unclaimed and are returned will be liable for the cost of a reshipment. If any address is considered insufficient by the courier and is returned, you will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you. Any claims for misprinted/ damaged/ defective items/packages lost in transit must be submitted directly to us within 30 days. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be advised that shipping costs to and from the fulfillment center or us are not reimbursed.
4. International returns (outside the United States)
You are responsible for all shipping costs, tariff, custom, and other costs incurred for returning your item (unless otherwise specified). Original shipping costs are non-refundable and your refund will be on the product cost only.
The time it will take for your returned item to arrive to us and be processed will vary depending on the shipping method you select.
If you are shipping an item over $75, we recommend adding tracking and insurance to the shipment. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. All non-digital products
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and notify you of the status (approval or rejection) of your refund. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
6. Late or missing refunds
If you returned a digital or physical product please allow up to two weeks for your charge to be refunded.
If after two weeks you do not see your refund appear, please first call your bank or credit card to confirm whether it is pending.
If the bank or credit card does not see your refund pending and you still have not received your refund after two weeks, please contact us at email@example.com.
We do our best to ensure you receive undamaged products. If, however, you have received an item that is defective or was damaged prior to arrival, we will promptly exchange it upon notification for an identical product. If this occurs, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and instructions will be provided for returning the defective or damaged merchandise.
8. Gift certificates and coupon codes
If you have received a gift certificate or coupon code for discounted or free products from The Healing Obituary or any of its affiliates, the coupon code or gift certificate is only good for a single use and up to the value on the code or card. Any digital products or physical items purchased are in accordance with the Refund Policy.
All gift certificates and coupon codes are nonrefundable and not eligible for exchange or store credit. Gift certificates and coupon codes shall expire one (1) month from their date of issue, unless otherwise specified.
9. Purchases from an affiliate
Any purchase made through a third-party affiliate is subject to the affiliate’s terms and conditions. Any requests from refunds should be made directly to the affiliate from whom the product or service was purchased. Be sure to save your invoice and receipts from any affiliate purchase so that we may direct you to the proper party should an issue arise.
